Privacy Policy
This policy describes how Ante Up (“the App”) handles information. Ante Up is a focus timer with a simple card table. Time becomes chips. Stay focused, and the table pays. Pause, and the hand falls apart.
The App is made by Muhammed Turgut. By using Ante Up you agree to this policy.
1. What we collect
We collect only what the table needs to run.
- Account. You can sit as a guest (anonymous Firebase Auth), or sign in with email and password, or Google. If you register we store the email you give us, a display name, and an avatar id.
- Table data. Chip balance, focus minutes, wins, losses, bankrupt count, streaks, and session history (start, end, planned duration, chips won or lost, result: completed, cancelled, or bankrupt).
- Country flag. On first setup we ask a public IP-to-country service (
api.country.is) for a two-letter country code. We store the code, not your IP. It is used only as a flag on your profile and the leaderboard. - Settings. Sound on/off, notification preference, default focus length, and timer voice. These live on the device and may sync with your account.
- Multiplayer. If you join a table we store table id, seat, chips in that hand, and whether you are still seated, so other players can see the same table.
We do not ask for camera, photos, contacts, microphone, or precise GPS. Chips are an in-app score. They are not money.
2. How we use it
- To keep you signed in and restore your seat, avatar, and chips.
- To run the focus timer, card rounds, bankrupt state, and session summary.
- To show stats, history, streaks, and the leaderboard (display name, avatar, chips, focus minutes, country flag).
- To run shared tables in real time.
- To remember sound and notification choices.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use it for ads.
3. Where it lives
- On the device. SharedPreferences cache for session, profile, stats, settings, and onboarding. Clearing app data removes this copy.
- Firebase Authentication. Guest, email, or Google identity.
- Cloud Firestore. User profile, stats, sessions, settings, streak.
- Firebase Realtime Database. Live multiplayer tables.
Google Sign-In is handled by Google. Firebase services are handled by Google. Their own policies apply to those products.
4. What others can see
The leaderboard is public inside the App: display name, avatar, chip total, focus minutes, and country flag. Players at a shared table see the same seat information for that hand. We do not put your email on the board.
5. Subscriptions
The App may show weekly, monthly, or yearly plans. Payments are not processed yet. When they are, store billing (Google Play or App Store) will handle payment details. We will not store full card numbers.
6. Children
Ante Up is a focus game, not a real gambling product. It is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, email us and we will delete it.
7. Keep, delete, ask
We keep account and table data while your account exists, so chips and history can return on a new device. Guest accounts last as long as the anonymous Firebase session on that device.
To delete your data, email muhammedtturgut@gmail.com from the address on the account (or describe the guest device). We will remove the Firebase profile, sessions, stats, and related table records. You can also clear local app storage in system settings.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or export your data. Write to the same address.
8. Security
Access is limited to your signed-in user id. Traffic to Firebase uses encrypted connections. No method is perfect. Protect your device and password.
9. Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the new text.
